After ajabu ajabu was evicted from its original space on Kimweri, the collective embarked on a series of pop up screenings across Dar es Salaam. The intention was to continue to draw attention to the lack of spaces for gathering, storytelling and film by temporally transforming bars, halls, offices and even streets into screening rooms.
They continue monthly @ the collective’s current location, occupying a level of Mikoko House in Mikocheni.
